The Garrick Theatre opens 45 minutes before the start of each performance.

The Garrick Theatre is located on Charing Cross Road, near to Leicester Square in London’s West End. Below you can find information on how to get to the theatre and a map showing the location of the venue.

If you’re driving into the West End to see a show, take advantage of Q-Park’s Theatreland Parking Scheme. Save 50% off parking with Q-Park (after 12pm and for up to 4 hours). Customers must book parking in advance here.

Wheelchair user access is located in the Dress Circle, which is at street level. Please report to the main entrance on arrival and a member of staff will accompany you. There are two small steps into the building; a portable ramp will be put out to assist wheelchair users.   The wheelchair space is located in the centre of Row E of the Dress Circle. Adjacent seats are available for disabled patrons’ companions.

There is a fully adapted unisex toilet in the main foyer.

There are Ladies and Gentlemen’s toilets on all levels.

The theatre bars are located in the Stalls, Dress Circle and Grand Circle.  A member of theatre staff will offer assistance purchasing beverages on behalf of customers.  Programmes and Ice Creams are available in the main foyer and auditorium.

The theatre is fitted with a Sennheiser radio frequency assisted hearing system. Headsets are available on a first come first served basis.

The following receivers are available:

• HDE 2020-D-II Stethoset receivers.

• EK 2020-D-II receivers.

The HDE 2020-D-II Stethoset is a 6 channel, radio receiver designed for operating in the 863 MHz–865 MHz frequency band.

The receiver is comfortable to wear and integrates both the receiver and headphones. The LC display provides information of volume, battery status, quality of reception and the channel being listened to. Channels can easily be set and adjusted by using the middle buttons.

The EK 2020-D-II is a belt pack style radio receiver, it can be used with mono or stereo headphones, earphones or a personal neckloop cable with hearing devices set to T function (lanyard included). Please note these devices are not Bluetooth compatible.

Assistance dogs are welcome. For comfort we recommend purchasing a seat on the end of a row. Alternatively we provide a dog sitting service for 2 dogs at a time; advance booking is recommended.

To access the auditorium there are 24 stairs down to the Stalls and 25 stairs up to the Grand Circle Bar, there are a further 8 stairs down to the Grand Circle.
